Faking It

I have run every day for 105 days but don't call myself a runner.

I have done several photoshoots and have business cards but do not call myself a photographer.

In my blog description I am a friend, mother, wife, student, employee but neither of the above.  (okay so I call myself a part-time runner, what is up with that?)

Wonder what is holding me back from calling myself a runner or a photographer?

I do love a good mystery :)

Why I Love My Job

Yesterday I had a photoshoot for the most amazing woman and her family.  They were goofy and silly and all around fun.  They also have a big event coming up that was the incentive to get pictures done before it happens.  There were moments were the energy shifted to worry and concern and in a blink they were back being silly.  We all love you C and wish you the best!


Nothing like having Mom there to hold your hand through it all.

100 runs in 100 days!!!!!  I made it!  So many people have supported me in this nutty little adventure and I just want to thank you all!  Actually I want to give you all a great big hug and a sloppy kiss but that is hard to do over the computer.  So consider yourself cyber-hugged and kissed!

Jinxed it!

So after I wrote my healthy vibes post I was struck by one of the WORST colds I have had in ages!  I woke up early (1am) on Sunday feeling like I was swallowing razor blades.  Things have gotten much better since then (thank-you Advil) and now mostly my nose and I are bitter enemies.  I have still been getting the runs in and have just cut back to much shorter runs than I had planned for this week.  The nice thing is that while I'm running and for about an hour afterwards I can actually breathe really clearly.  Then the wall hits and I want to curl up in a ball and nap.  3 more runs and if this is still hanging around it will be a rest day for this girl.  If I'm feeling better who knows what might happen!

One week to go!

One week left to make it to 100 runs in 100 days.  Send me lots of good running/no injury vibes!  I don't want to ruin the streak at this point!


Today was a Tabata workout with my trainer and while it is a tough workout, it is fun!  It is good for those of us with short attention spans too.
